The partnership combines Parametric’s measurement and control technology and data solutions with the specialist and engineering expertise of cideon engineering. The aim is to develop new digital applications for rail vehicles and put them into practice.
Parametric develops solutions that capture and evaluate physical data from vehicles and infrastructure and make it usable for operations in real time. This helps reduce noise, loads and wear during ongoing operation and improves ride comfort.
cideon engineering supports rail vehicles throughout their entire life cycle: from studies, concepts and design through procurement and construction to modernization, commissioning and maintenance. Among other services, the company offers project management as well as mechanical and electrical engineering.
By expanding their cooperation, the partners want to bring their respective competencies closer together and deploy new solutions directly on rail vehicles.
