Parasigna AG becomes independent and focuses on sustainable Digital Signage Technology following spin-off from Parametric GmbH
Wilderswil, Switzerland - 20 August 2024 - The newly founded Parasigna AG, an owner-managed Swiss technology company with its own electronics development, production in Switzerland and local support, has spun off from Parametric GmbH as of 20 August 2024 and is now operating as an independent company. Parasigna AG focuses on sustainable solutions for digital outdoor displays (digital signage).
With 8 years of experience and over 5,000 control units/players and displays deployed worldwide, Parasigna AG has a comprehensive track record. The portfolio includes outdoor screens and real-time technology to reduce energy consumption and unnecessary light emissions and to minimise installation and operating costs. This is based on the knowledge gained from over 500 million monitored operating hours, as well as proprietary technology for wireless content transmission, streaming via mesh networks and big data-based optimisation of systems. The solutions are offered worldwide both for proprietary outdoor screens and to support existing and heterogeneous digital signage networks.
Parasigna AG takes over the entire digital signage business unit of Parametric GmbH, including intellectual property, customer base, production and contracts. Parametric GmbH will continue to operate in the field of railway optimisation and further develop its solutions for minimising noise and vibrations in railways, light rail vehicles and trams.
Andreas Koschak, founder and owner of Parametric GmbH and Parasigna AG, emphasises: ‘The spin off enables both business units to focus independently on their respective strengths and markets and to expand these in a targeted manner.
