All notable changes to the PCR2 Firmware will be documented here.

[3.8.1] - 2020-12-01

Update if you have an US915 device and using a gateway with only 8 channels.

Fixed

  • a bug in US915 Region code where channel masks have not been applied
  • USB CDC line encodings for Windows 10
  • Counters have not been cleared properly when device repowers

Known Limitations

  • No config payloads on US915 devices due to payload length restrictions

[3.8.0] - 2020-11-06

Update if you need to fine tune near distance trackings (COVID-19 lamps)

FFR 1.4.5 firmware is now included in the main firmware and will be automatically updated. During the update both LEDs blink fast for about 30s

How to Update Firmware

This procedure is for hardware rev. 03 devices only.

1. Check Hardware Revision

Please find the PCB number printed on the backside of the PCR2 mainboard.

Look for 1714-PCB0000-03 or 1714-PCB0000-04.

2. Connect your PCR2 to your PC

Connect your PCR2 with an USB cable to your Windows10 PC and start PCR Setup Tool.

3. Start Firmware Updater

Please start Firmware Updater and check if there is a new version available. Then follow the instructions of the wizard.

4. Reconnect Device

Plug out and plug in device and check updated firmware version
